Frequently asked questions

Getting started

Sign up for a free account, then go to Dashboard → Event Types and click "New event type". Set the name, duration, location type, and share the link with anyone you want to meet with.

Yes. Go to Dashboard → Settings and set your username slug. Your booking page will be at invitepe.com/<your-username>.

Go to Dashboard → Availability. Set your working hours and any date-specific overrides. invitepe will only show slots inside those windows.

Zoom & Calendar

Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Zoom and click "Connect". You'll be redirected to Zoom to authorise the app. After approving, a unique Zoom link is automatically created for every booking on a Zoom event type.

The Zoom meeting is automatically updated to the new date and time. The join URL stays the same — you do not need to resend anything to the invitee.

The Zoom meeting is automatically deleted from your Zoom account when the booking is cancelled — by either party.

Yes. Go to Integrations → Google Calendar & Meet. Connecting it checks your calendar for conflicts in real time and creates a Google Calendar event for every booking. Optionally, a Google Meet link can be attached automatically.

Billing & Payments

Set a price on your event type. When an invitee books, they pay via Razorpay (cards, UPI, net banking, wallets). The payment is captured and the booking is confirmed. Your share is paid out to your linked bank account via Razorpay Route.

Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Razorpay and click "Set up payouts". You'll enter your business and bank details. Once approved by Razorpay, payouts happen automatically after each booking.

invitepe charges a small percentage of each paid booking as a platform fee. The net amount is transferred directly to your linked account.

Refunds are between you (the host) and your invitee, processed directly through Razorpay. invitepe does not handle or mediate refunds — see our Refund Policy for details.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Yes, if you enable it on the event type. Invitees get a manage link in their confirmation email. You can set a minimum notice period (e.g. 24 hours) before cancellations are allowed.

Yes. invitepe sends an email to the invitee with the new date and time whenever a booking is rescheduled.

If you have Google Calendar connected, the calendar event is automatically deleted and invitees receive a cancellation notice from Google.

Account & Privacy

Email privacy@invitepe.com from your registered address with the subject "Delete my account". We'll process it within 30 days.

See our Privacy Policy for the full list. The short version: account info, booking records, payment references, and OAuth tokens for connected integrations. No advertising data, no tracking pixels.

Go to Dashboard → Integrations, find the integration, and click "Disconnect". Your OAuth token is deleted immediately.

Embedding & Widget

Add <script src="https://invitepe.com/invitepe.js"></script> to your page, then put data-invitepe="username/event-slug" on any button. For full docs and all three embed modes, visit the Configure & Embed page.

Popup on click (data-invitepe attribute on any element), Inline embed (data-invitepe-inline fills a div with the full calendar), and Floating badge (sticky button in the bottom-right corner — no extra HTML needed). See /configure/ for code snippets.

Yes. After loading the widget script, call invitepe.open('username/slug') programmatically. You can also listen for the invitepe:booked event to react when a booking is confirmed.

Go to Dashboard → Embed Widget. Your username is shown in the booking URL (invitepe.com/{username}), and each event type has its own slug. The embed builder shows you the exact snippet with your real values pre-filled.
